Therefore it is probably time to install Norton Security Deluxe on my Mac. I have made backups of my wife's Mac files onto HDDs that may get connected to my Mac. This morning, I installed it onto my wife's Mac, ran a scan, and sure enough it found "OSX_Trojan", and removed it.

Because of this Windows use, I have a subscription to the new Norton Security Deluxe that will let me install this anti-virus software on 5 computers.
I had not been using anti-virus software on either of our Macs, but do use it almost religiously on all Window computers. And Safari preferences would not let me delete cookies. Redirects? WTF? Yet I could get in to read her email account on my Mac and on a Win10 machine.Īlso, Safari was giving all sorts of popups that would lockup her Mac. She could not get into her email, and the Hosting account said there were too many redirects.
